Kali is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate life's challenges in a supportive, compassionate environment. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. She believes every person has unique strengths, and enjoys helping clients build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change. Before becoming a therapist, she spent six years working with children on the autism spectrum and individuals with developmental disabilities. She has also worked with youth involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, including children on probation. These experiences shaped her commitment to meeting clients where they are and supporting them through behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, life transitions, and the effects of adversity.
Kali's therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. She believes clients are experts on their own lives, and works alongside them to identify strengths, increase motivation for change, and develop practical skills that support long-term well-being. When working with children, she enjoys incorporating play therapy because play is often a child's natural language. Through play, children can express emotions, process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and build new coping skills safely and engagingly.
Whether she is working with a child, teen, young adult, or adult, she is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that honors each person's unique story. She hopes to help clients build resilience, gain confidence, and create a life that aligns with their values while reminding them that their past does not define their future.
